Jothan Frakes, a 28 year veteran of the Domain Industry and an early adopter of blockchain, owns and operates the ICANN Accredited Registrar PLISK.com. He has worked in senior technical roles at Verisign, MMX, and numerous high profile registry and registrar businesses. Jothan was a lead subject matter expert for KPMG, in their evaluation of the 2012 round of top-level domains (TLD) applications for ICANN. He recently served as Executive Director of the Domain Name Association. He is co-founder of the popular NamesCon, the MERGE.show digital asset conference for domains and crypto, DomainFest and numerous other conferences and meet-ups in the ICANN/DNS space. Jothan provides advice to a variety of ccTLDs and gTLDs, as well as the Ethereum Foundation on ENS.
